Strawberry Social

First Sunday in the New Sanctuary

After many months of praying, giving, working, and waiting, we celebrated the opening of our new sanctuary with a combined worship service on Sunday, December 18th.  Thank you to those who prayed, and to the many folks who labored long and hard to bring this project to completion.  Praise God for His great faithfulness to us, His abundant provision, and for many answers to prayer.  May His name be greatly glorified in this new facilityNow arise, LORD God, and come to your resting place, you and the ark of your might. May your priests, LORD God, be clothed with salvation, may your faithful people rejoice in your goodness. ~2Chron. 6:41

Children's Christmas Party 2016

On Friday evening, December 2nd, the Children’s Ministry hosted “Christmas Encounters: A Christmas Party for Children.”  The children enjoyed songs, games, cookies and a take-home craft as they learned about Christmas encounters from the first Christmas: Mary and Joseph each hearing from the angel, Gabriel…the shepherds’ hearing the angel announce Jesus’ birth, and the amazing angel choir singing Glory to God in the Highest… the wise men sharing about their encounter with the baby Jesus as they presented their gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh…. And the real reason that Jesus came:  to save us from our sin.   She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.  ~Matthew 1:21
