Special Needs
Participation in the Life of the Church
In order to truly welcome everyone as part of our body, Brick Lane prioritizes meeting the unique needs of those affected by disability through support on Sunday mornings and special events throughout the year.
On Sunday mornings, you’ll find
Drive-up, wheelchair-accessible entrances to both our main floor and lower level.
Interior ramps and an elevator.
A “buddy system” that allows parents of children with special needs to participate fully in the worship service.
Sunday morning classes planned to foster community and meet the needs of our attendees affected by disability.
Throughout the year, we
Host the Joni & Friends Walk and Roll fundraiser event.
Host Queen for a Day, a day devoted to pampering women caregivers for family members with disabilities.
Host the Disability Square Dance for couples affected by disability.
Send several teams of short-term missionaries to serve at the Joni & Friends family camp.
Please don’t let special needs keep you from worshiping with us. We look forward to welcoming you to Brick Lane.
