Children
Just as Jesus welcomed children with open arms, we are committed to teaching and caring for people of all ages. Brick Lane’s children’s ministry is vibrant — Sunday mornings and evenings bustle with activity. Our classes are designed to come alongside parents so that our children would
Know and love Jesus as their Savior.
Be in awe and wonder of our amazing God.
Know and love his Word, the Bible.
Understand God’s plan of redemption and their place in it.
Grow into men and women of God who will perpetuate these goals for future generations.
To this end,
We carefully select God-focused curriculum rather than man-focused curriculum. We draw primarily from Truth78 and Great Commission Publications.
We encourage Bible memorization.
We pray, asking the Holy Spirit to work in the children’s hearts.
Our Children’s Programs Include…
Sunday Morning Classes
Classes for children aged two years through sixth grade meet at 9:00 am in the children’s wing. See our calendar for specific dates. Contact Dawn Kimball if you have any questions.
Children’s Worship
Two Children’s Worship classes take place during the sermon, one for pre-K and kindergarten and the other for grades first through third. The children attend worship with their parents until just before the sermon, at which point they are dismissed to Children’s Worship. Children are also welcome to sit with their parents during the entire service if parents prefer.
Nursery
Nursery is available for children two years of age and under during Sunday morning classes, worship, and evening prayer.

In accordance with Pennsylvania law, Brick Lane requires volunteers who work with children and/or youth to obtain the required PA background clearances, which must be renewed every 5 years.
Sunday Evenings
Evenings are laid back with games, Bible stories, and fun for the kids from 6—7:15 pm. Evening groups include pre-K, kindergarten and first grade, second and third grades, and fourth through sixth grades.
Junior High
Socials
Who doesn’t love pool parties, movie nights, bowling, and summer campouts? We plan events designed to connect students with their peers, connect students with leaders, and overall have a good time! Keep an eye on the church calendar or check the Facebook group for upcoming events.
Service Projects
As we learn about the life that Jesus calls us to, we strive to put those lessons into action with service projects like those we do through Global Aid Network, and preparing meals for those in need.
Retreats
Annual retreats give our students a chance to have fun, experience guest speakers, and encourage each other.
Brick Lane’s Youth Ministry exists to reach and disciple families with youth to help students know Jesus Christ, develop biblical character, and impact the world through their witness. Ministry leader, Andrew Hageman, can be reached at andrew.hageman@brick52.org.
Our Junior High ministry connects with our 7th and 8th grade students in the following ways:
Sunday Morning Class
Students gather for class in Area 71 at 9:00 am.
Youth Group
Our weekly youth group meets on Sunday evenings at 6:00 pm, offering teaching, smaller breakout groups for sharing and praying, personal testimonies, various group games, and occasional pizza and prayer nights.

Senior High
Brick Lane seeks to equip every teen with:
A solid understanding and love for the Bible, the written Word of God, and the ability to study it on their own.
An accurate view both of their sin and of the mercy of God in removing that sin and the ability to continually preach that good news to themselves.
An understanding of the importance of loving others well, and the practical skills to do it.
The ability to share the truth about Christ with others, and a sense of urgency to do so.
The ability to make wise decisions based on the Bible’s teaching.
