Senior Pastor

Dave grew up in Kingston, Jamaica, and has spent most of his life in Pennsylvania. He holds a BS in Computer Science from Gettysburg College, an MBS from Reformed Theological Seminary, and a Doctor of Ministry from Covenant Theological Seminary.

Dave served in senior leadership with DiscipleMakers Campus Ministry, where he continues to minister to students and staff. He is also a teaching elder in the Presbyterian Church of America (PCA).

Dave and his wife, Megan, have four children. He enjoys soccer, table tennis, exploring cities, and trying international cuisine.

Buddy Colmery

Buddy Colmery

Executive Director

Buddy grew up in Malvern, Pennsylvania, and has been a member since 2005, serving as a Youth Group Leader, Trustee, Deacon, and Men's Ministry Leader. He holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from Penn State and has worked in specialty chemical manufacturing management for most of his career. He oversees the operational functions, including finances, facilities, technology, building use and ministry support.

Buddy and his wife, Andi, have been married since 1982 and have three married children and eleven grandchildren. He enjoys Philadelphia sports, Penn State football, working in the yard, and being a Pop Pop.

Matt Carter

Matt Carter

Associate Pastor

Matt grew up near the Allegheny National Forest in rural northwestern Pennsylvania and joined Brick Lane in 1995. He holds a BS in Landscape Architecture from Penn State, an MDIV from Biblical Theological Seminary, and a certificate in Biblical Counseling from CCEF. He oversees worship and a number of discipleship ministries and is also passionate about counseling and international missions.

Matt and his wife, Cindy, have been married since 1991 and have three sons, a daughter, and three grandchildren. He enjoys hiking, kayaking, and stone masonry projects.

Andrew Hageman

Andrew Hageman

Pastor in Training

Andrew grew up in Pottstown, PA, and has attended Brick Lane since childhood. He became a member shortly before leaving for college. He joined the staff in 2019 after earning a Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in Bible from Cairn University. He oversees the youth ministry and technology teams at Brick Lane and expects to graduate from Westminster Theological Seminary in 2027. His wife, Sarah, is a counselor and an intensive outpatient therapist. Andrew loves to solve problems, read, go running, and spend time with his beloved wife and daughter.

Mark Estes

Mark Estes

Assistant Pastor

Mark oversees adult education, family ministries, and assimilation at Brick Lane, where he became a member in 2003. He holds a biblical counseling certificate from the Christian Counseling & Education Foundation, a bachelor’s degree from Grove City College, and an M.A. in Theological Studies from Westminster Theological Seminary. He grew up in the same neighborhood where he and his wife, Katie, are now raising their four children. He enjoys playing guitar and drums.

No individual has shaped Mark more than his father, who instilled in him a love for the Bible, a deep appreciation for Reformed theology, and an eagerness to shepherd Christ’s flock.

TJ Waldy

TJ Waldy

Young Adults Leader

TJ grew up in Topeka, KS, and began attending Brick Lane in 2015 after graduating from Grove City College. He joined the staff in 2019 as a Pastoral Assistant for Youth and Young Adults and expects to graduate from Westminster Theological Seminary in 2026. His wife, Paige, is a physical therapist in Elverson, and they have two children, Wesley and Felicity. The Waldys enjoy board games, farm animals, line dancing, the beach, and s’mores. Favorite verse: Revelation 19:11.

Kathy Eberly

Kathy Eberly

Director of Counseling & Human Resources

Kathy has been the Director of Counseling and HR at Brick Lane since October 2002. She holds a Master’s in Counseling from Westminster Theological Seminary. Originally from Reading, PA, she has lived in Elverson for 22 years with her husband, Dave, and their son, Nicholas. She enjoys solving mysteries and spending time with their three dogs, Gracie, Fred, and Baxter.

Ginny Foltz

Ginny Foltz

Administrative Assistant

Ginny handles a myriad of administrative needs but works primarily in support of counseling and worship. She became a member of Brick Lane in June of 1998 and has been on staff since May 2001. She has three children, six grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. She grew up in Honey Brook and attended Twin Valley High School. She loves gardening and crocheting and knitting baby items for new mothers in the congregation.

Dawn grew up in the Queens/Long Island area of New York and holds a degree in Elementary Education from Gwynedd-Mercy College in Gwynedd Valley, PA. She joined the Brick Lane staff in 2013.

Ruth Ann Blosenski

Ruth Ann Blosenski

Facilities and Calendar Support

Ruth Ann grew up in Parkesburg, PA, and joined the Brick Lane staff in 2014 after 30 years as a medical insurance biller. She coordinates building reservations, the church calendar, supplies, and kitchen use and leads the Aesthetics Committee. A member for over 25 years, she enjoys cooking, playing games, being part of the widows' group, and spending time with her eight grandchildren.

Shirley Halberstadt

Shirley Halberstadt

Bookkeeping

Shirley joined the Brick Lane staff in 2023 as bookkeeper and has been a member of BLCC since 2022. She brings more than 40 years of accounting experience and holds a Master’s degree in Corporate Administration from Alvernia University in Reading. In addition to her financial background, she has completed four counseling courses through CCEF and has a special heart for those who are suffering and hurting. She considers it a privilege to serve the congregation and support the ministry of the church
